Are you looking for workouts that you can do at home or on the go? Do you like switching up your workouts, without the cost of a boutique fitness center? If this sounds like you, I highly recommend giving Daily Burn a try!
What is Daily Burn?
Daily Burn was founded in 2007 and now has millions of members. A health and fitness company, Daily Burn provides you with workout videos that are available online or through a variety of streaming applications. The company’s videos are lead by certified instructors and are designed to cover a large range of workout programs for various experience levels.
A subscription-based workout service, Daily Burn offers new customers a 30-day free trial. This gives you plenty of time to try out their videos without any upfront costs!
What workouts does Daily Burn offer?
Do you like having workout variety? If so, you’ll love Daily Burn! The platform offers videos for the following workout styles: abs/core, barre, cardio strength, dance, kettlebell, kickboxing, mobility, pilates, strength, and yoga.
Prefer workouts you can listen to? Daily Burn also has audio only workouts for running (treadmill and outdoor), abs and core, strength and condition, yoga, pilates, and meditation.
Are Daily Burn workouts easy to filter?
Yes! In fact, you can easily search for workouts by program (more on this below), style, trainer, equipment, duration (short, medium, long), difficulty (easy, medium, hard), and pace (slow, moderate, fast). Each workout has a preview option (i.e. 15-30 second trailer) and can be marked as a “favorite” for quick access in the future.
Also, Daily Burn has a strong feedback system in place that allows you to rate the workout, streaming quality, trainer, style of workout, workout difficulty, and length of the workout. Just like any smart platform out there, I’m fairly confident the company uses this feedback to refine their content and recommend workouts for you.
What makes Daily Burn unique is the fact that they have 34 different work out programs (and counting). Each program has its own unique plan, schedule, and instructor(s). Some even including custom nutrition plans to round out the course.
For your convenience, each workout plan is broken down into the following:

My personal experience using Daily Burn
A lifelong fitness enthusiast, I first started Daily Burn when my daughter was born and consistently making it to the gym became a challenge. Between work and being a new father, I discovered free time came at a premium.
Interested in learning more about at home workout options, I started to ask around. A neighbor of mine recommended Daily Burn so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I’m glad I did!
Signing up for Daily Burn
Already an Amazon Prime member, I subscribed to Daily Burn through the Amazon platform. It was easy to use via my Amazon Fire Stick, making it accessible throughout my home. I also downloaded their app on my iPhone for use out and about.
Upon first signing up, I was asked my gender, date of birth, and height as well as how often I wanted to work out each week. Like most of today’s applications, I’m fairly confident Daily Burn used this information to recommend workouts for me to start with as well as schedule email content to keep me motivated. Furthermore, they also use this data to estimate calories burned during each workout, an added bonus for the calorie counters out there!
User interface and workouts
Once I was all signed up, I started to play around on the app to learn more about workouts and programs I’d be interested in doing. As outlined earlier, Daily Burn has A LOT of workouts and programs to keep you engaged as well as easy to use filter settings to find exactly what you’re looking for. Furthermore, the app has a calendar that tracks the days you work out, calories burned, and more!
Personally, I really enjoyed their boot camp and yoga content. On the other hand, my wife really enjoyed their cardio and strength exercises. With an extensive library of unique content, you’ll have plenty of workouts to choose from! The key is learning to stay motivated to workout while at home (more on this below).
Also, while I did not use their nutrition plans, this is another awesome feature that I found made Daily Burn unique from its competitors.
Motivation and community
One of the benefits of having an outside gym or fitness membership is the motivation it provides once you make it to the gym (the hard part for most people). I’ve found working out around others has a unique motivating effect on me. Maybe it’s because I’m competitive or enjoy being around others, but I do feel that is one challenging aspect to any at home fitness experience.
With this in mind, I do think Daily Burn does a good job sending motivational content via email. They also have a great Facebook community that allows you to connect with others using the app. Personally, I enjoyed hearing from other members and found their stories very motivating!
Final thoughts
In the end, Daily Burn is an incredible workout app that has a ton of outstanding content delivered via a variety of platforms. If you have a designated place to work out at home and are self-motivated, this is definitely working checking out! Also, for those on the go and always traveling, Daily Burn is an excellent option.
