Do you have trouble seeing things clearly in the distance, like your tv or street signs? If so, you may have myopia (otherwise known as nearsightedness).
Simply put, myopia is a common visual condition that causes objects you’re looking at in the distance to appear blurry while objects up close remain clear.
For example, if you have myopia, you may be able to easily read on your phone or tablet up close but be unable to clearly see the time on a clock in the distance.
If one or both of your parents have myopia (nearsightedness), guess what, you have an increased chance of having myopia too!
